LA has this weird thing where basically everyone simultaneously wakes up at 11 in the morning on the weekend. So there is basically no traffic at all up until that point, at which it becomes rush hour for the rest of the day

Fun fact: I was in the band at UCLA and was there the last time UCLA hosted Gameday. they held it at the Rose bowl and there was nobody there except the band amd some stadium workers.
