Sort of like how the UWA World Trios Titles are still around even though UWA shut it's doors in 1995. Since then they've been "owned" by Toryumon, El Dorado, Osaka Pro, DDT, Wrestle-1 & last I heard Aagan Iisou won them in BASARA of all places
