Keep the same core cast, but start over from scratch. One full season of nothing but stand-alone episodes. If that goes over well, re-introduce Julia and Vicious. Pretend the first season never happened. This show was my partner's introduction to Cowboy Bebop. She was surprised at how short the anime's episodes are.
