my favorite part of ~web development~ is when you have to use some 3rd party library and they use classes for both assigning styles and targeting elements to be used with javascript. so if you want to strip out the css so you can change how it looks you have to play the "is this class just for styles or is it required for functionality" game. it's extra fun when the answer is "both"

My rule of thumb when I was in the frontend mines was to use classes for styling and ids for javascript. If I needed a collection of elements in js, I'd use a data- attribute.

I'm dealing alot with PDF and the PDF spec, and this is lol

PDF is built specifically so you don't have to read it all at once, it has a table to dynamically fetch and load content as it's needed, though if a pdf client tries to read the whole thing then lol

right, regardless of the current state of puter touching, programmers aren’t paid to learn to use fart.js, they’re paid to solve problems. even if the problem is solved using fart.js you’re at least paying someone to go through the trouble of learning fart.js and applying it as a solution. low/no code solutions are part of a decades old narrative push of trying to paint programmers as fungible, as if the hard part was writing weird english on the computer to make stuff happen.

take the hint you loving dipshits. if i wanted to install windows 11, i would have done it any of the dozen previous times you shoved it in my face in the last year. if i press the very thoughtfully un-highlighted nearly hidden button to decline the upgrade, that's positive consent on my part for you to gently caress the hell off. you don't have to keep presenting the option, there is no question regarding my intent.

Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Win opens Office on my machine.
Pair the above with P and it opens Powerpoint on the browser, same for X (Excel), etc. L for MS-owned LinkedIn I guess. is LinkedIn now part of the office suite?

I tried Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Win+S and it popped up a window saying bikes suck and cars are awesome
