Hark see the balls Sweet porcine balls Turd perched atop As he eats slop Posting that pic Is a sure trick To bring a smile Even one mild Full speed ahead (background: Post, pig) Spice up a thread (background: Poop, balls) Rejoice and post (background: Post, pig) From every coast (background: Poop, balls) Frozen in time Perfect, sublime Never to fall Cradled by balls It could be worse Pics truly cursed Laugh with the joke Still not yet broke Absurdity Fills threads with glee Perfect yet plain It still remains Hi-def pics of piggy piggy poop balls Hi-def pics of piggy piggy poop balls Make sure you send Post without end Find a new thread Ensure the spread Repeat as needed. Not the slickest thing, if anyone wants to gussy it up or critique it go ahead, I would also love to do a round for this and/or take responsibility for putting this thing together. Mostly I'm looking for something more substantial and interesting to replace the "Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas" part.

Can we just be clear that there a 2 big pig balls pics: one with a poop on the balls one in a homemade farm cart and a happy man driving (no poop) It's the second scrotograph on the album cover Nothing against either being lyrical inspiration! Just want to make sure everyone is aware of both

Kristopher Kringle says hello Based on real events. For legal reasons I have to specify that the products listed in the song may not be available at John Lewis stores. Gift-semane (from the hit musical Jesus, Christmas at the Office Is Stressful) https://soundcloud.com/stanley-swanson-150846885/gift-semane I don't know if I have another song idea in me after this one, but as always, I'm open for collaborations. Scud Hansen posted:noob question but has there been a methodology perfected over the years for selecting a good sleighbell sample? What helps is if you know the tempo of your song, and then you can find long samples with different bpms. If they matches exactly, you can take the closest and stretch it.

I find it most convenient to go through what YouTube has to offer and to rip the audio with youtube-dlg. For some reason people will post audio samples on it, and obviously also karaoke versions and instrument tutorial versions of songs that you can use wholesale.

Scud Hansen posted:noob question but has there been a methodology perfected over the years for selecting a good sleighbell sample? I think I threw some coins into a can and then pitch shifted it. In hindsight that was too much effort. Here was an idea I had for the cover. I am bad at GIMP. Maybe the cart/pig should have more Christmas lights? Edit: Cleaned up the image a little. In my mind's eye I had a Thomas Kinkady type of painting of the manger in the distance with the star of Bethlehem shining over it. sporklift fucked around with this message at 05:28 on Nov 15, 2021 |

Maybe with an appropriate Bible verse or something to drive home the Bethlehem imagery in the background. Proverbs 11:22 "As a ring of gold in a swine’s snout So is a beautiful woman who lacks discretion." Mark 5:12 The demons implored Him, saying, “Send us into the swine so that we may enter them.”

Scud Hansen posted:noob question but has there been a methodology perfected over the years for selecting a good sleighbell sample? Did you try https://freesound.org/ to find one? I can't remember if that's where I found the sleigh bells for Santa Reads the Uniform Commercial Code, but it has them. Now, all that said, for some reason I got it in my head to do a Christmas version of Ghost Ride the Whip. It's only a spark of an idea, but I think there may be something very, very wrong with me.

Thanks for the responses. I was spending a little too much time trying to trim and gently caress about with a sample, so finding one that's closer to my tempo already is a good idea. If I make something I'll post it so you can all regret helping me.

My pandemic hobby has been music production and online collaboration so I intend to contribute something finally this year! I just saw the thread and have made no plans but PM me if you have a cool idea and we'll make it happen. I mainly do guitars, banjo, and mandolin and my wife plays drums, accordion, and anything with keys and we both sing when needed.
