You have to click upload on the "Purchase others avatar" page...not just put the text of an imgur link in the avatar slot. Then it's uploaded to the server to use for title changes.

im an ik and was using the gift a custom title option, not buying someone an avatar. or is that the step i would need to go through anyway? the feature wasnt explained in depth to me. i thought it was going to the modqueue for an actual review
