In the other thread, LadyAmbien has confirmed that this gofundme is the real deal, for anyone who was waiting for confirmation of that.

I appreciate this and all the other kind comments like this.

There is a stickied post in GBS called For the Children with a link to the GFM where any money raised will be split between the girls and used for their care, any counseling costs and future education funds. .

Donated a hundo last night. I just went back and checked my confirmation, and sure enough, I must have missed the checkbox since I apparently also gave a $15 "tip" to gofundme itself.

It looks like the tip is a separate extra charge, so at least it's not being taken out of the actual donated funds. Still a sleazy business practice though.

Does anyone either know off-hand how much money "Soiled Meat" means I've spent, or where I could find a list of all tags and their donation levels? I want to match that at the very least.

Looks like Soiled Meat is in the $30-ish range.

We're at a volume that I'm hiring a trust attorney, not because I don't trust LA and CYB but because there's tax implications I don't want to screw them (or me) over on.

They'll also help you find all the deductions and such that apply, so that you can pay low tax one last time. :buddy:
