The entire core of the team is just bad and it all needs to be blown up. I was probably being dramatic about it 3-5 years ago during the Hakstol era but the core was arguably even worse then, and yet here we are on December 2nd and the season is pretty much over. They're an 8-13 team in a division that's way too good and the talent isn't there. I had turned the game on after the first and turned it off as soon as it was 3-0. If they haven't, they should really sit down with Giroux and see if it's time to move on. His number will still end up retired. Couturier is locked up but I wouldn't be afraid to move him either if he's willing, because the two of them are the only real constants left from the last decade. It sucks. I don't really blame AV because I don't think there's a coach in the world that could get much more out of them.
