I think they were getting ahead of a double voter claim that would correctly be scrutinized later in the game.

There was no real incentive to do it outside of the the overexplained reasoning they provided, and that just feels like walking into an awkward web of lies.

However... I am not 100% certain, it just looks like the best case to me, and it looks like tried and true scum behavior. However... if anyone here could pull rank, it would be you, so if you don't see it... eh, maybe I'll consider other options for now.

I can't quite place my finger on it. He's not doing anything overly egregious, but everything about it seems artificial.

I feel like he plays around with the moat vote early on. Then I think his pivot onto Obama looks like a complete riding of momentum carried by other players without actually having an opinion. I don't think this eliminates moat from suspicion entirely either, but with the cop claim, his suspicion is significantly lessened.
