It's really not though. The point of not going over the speed limit is that in the event that there is an accident, it will be less severe. If anything you'd be doing everyone behind you a favour by keeping them at the speed limit too.

It’s fine until you have to switch lanes in which case you should really be matching the flow of the lane you’re switching to.

In mexico people will put their left turn signal if they're behind you in the fast lane and want you to move. I have no idea why canadians and americans don't do this.
