I'm sorry but am I high because I think I just read a synopsis for Horny Y The Last Man and I can't decide if it's hilarious or terrible. Not really seeing anything super engaging for me so it'll likely be another retro catchup season for me.

I've been watching Platinum End and while it isn't as good as Death Note it has potential. The angels are really creepy despite their pleasant appearances, the one attached to the MC gleefully suggests he murder his family in the first episode. It's also got the thing that reminds me of Death Note in that the main bad guy is trying to figure out the identities of the other Candidates to kill them while the MC is trying to do the same thing to save them from the bad guy. I'm just annoyed the next new episode isn't until the 6th. Look forward to Pricon season 2.

Fun fact: It was supposed to air last season, and they did air the first episode, but then before episode 2 came out, they abruptly decided "wait no we need more time" and pushed it back a full season. A really bizarre move. And yeah the only new shows I'm interested in is Sono Bisque Doll and the second half of Ousama Ranking. Going to probably spend most of this season binging the monogatari series.

Little worried about Bisque Doll given that Cloverworks is running three shows, and one of them (Tokyo 24th Ward) is already known to be a catastrophic production trainwreck. I'd be surprised if the other two manage to go all that smoothly.

Sabikui Bisco kinda reminds me of the ecological aspects of Nausicaa. Also, that fishing anime sound fun. Hopefully Crunchyroll will pick up one or both of them.

Also looking forward to a bunch of those movies whenever they make the rounds; since GKIDS is distributing The Deer King I'm hopeful that it will get a screening near me at some point since it feels like every anime movie they distribute except for Yuasa movies plays around here.

UY reboot is both shocking but not too shocking as reportedly Rumiko had issues with the original anime. It should be interesting though as it's a series very much of the 80's and does have some things they'd need to smooth over
