Get hyped, friends.

I'm currently at the studio keeping an eye on the tracker leading in to the kickoff, and then will be running the audio mixer from 5p-11p Eastern every night. Should be fun times!

Good luck in dealing with whatever complications pop up this year.

Well, it's not Baba so I might have a vague idea what's going on this time.

The fact that he has a chance to breath means it is a lot more low key then that insanity.

Dearest Bulbasaur, I humbly apologize for the misguided and completely baseless claims that you are "bad." After minutes of reflection I've come to realize that you are an amazing Pokemon and I'm truly sorry for my attitude for the last 7 years. I appreciate all the times that you've been there for me even though I wasn't there for you. Thank you Bulbasaur -Shen

Honestly I understand the lure of having an in person event but a virtual event is so much more inclusive for people who can't afford plane tickets and poo poo.

They should keep either AGDQ or SGDQ online permanently just to allow more people to participate. Split the difference IMO.

I do enjoy the purely online ones but I do also miss the insanity that was that final push for SGDQ 2019.

Also the last day (last few minutes) is when the sponsor contributions (aside from Yetee and Fangamer who trickle theirs in across the whole marathon) and Twitch revenue get added in. Those usually amount to several hundred thousand dollars in one big chunk at the end.

Yeah, they keep those in reserve in case they want to push for something truly insane.

Who was it that described naming the various glitches either a) something incredibly weird or b) something that describes them exactly

I do love runs like this with item clips, like Skyrim where a bucket is a ticket to breaking the game

There is also c) naming it after the person who discovered them. I am pretty sure part of the reason why there is a mgs run during the event because of the boba skip being discovered.

I agree. It was a good point about the need to adjust to location conditions and the importance of the work in said areas in ensuring the right diagnosis because of the cost associated with the treatment.
