If I remember right, Dan and Jordan have discussed Ye going on before and came to the conclusion that Alex wouldn't actually want him on: he's richer, more famous and more popular than Alex and as such Alex has no power over him. I think they were right and more importantly I think Alex knew that, which begs the question: was this a desperate gamble or did Alex have an ill-timed moment of delusion and think "I can do what Tim Pool couldn't"? How much has the weight of the lawsuits - now far more than just an abstract future threat - tipped his risk/reward judgment? I don't know but I'm looking forward to hearing Jordan scream so hard he shatters glass.

I don't think he will and Alex probably knew that, but he's not able to be picky now

Maybe Danarchy can't find the funny in this, but I personally think it is hilarious watching Alex Jones desperately try to toe the line of not coming across as an outright antisemite/holocaust denier and simultaneously not alienating his antisemite, holocaust denier fans, all while Ye sits five feet away from him and follows up his every attempt with "okay, but the holocaust literally didn't happen and Hitler was a great man and I hate Jews. Don't you agree?"

What time/zone do episodes normally release, out of interest? I wouldn't normally be bothered, but this episode promises to be a banger and I'm curious if it'll be (roughly) early evening GMT, midnight etc for me due to timezones.

They said today’s episode would be released sometime in the afternoon (so, probably 1-4pm central). IIRC, last time they had an afternoon release, it was closer to the later half of that estimation. Usually, though, the episodes drop around midnight central, but sounds like the magnitude of what went on delayed it.

I am reminded how supermarkets often use three variations of a product. One highly-priced one, one low-priced one, and one in the middle that has the largest margin for the supermarket. I don't know who I'd put on the low or high shelf here, but Nick Fuentes is squarely on the middle shelf and that's why he's on that show.

What struck me most of all from this episode was that until now I hadn't really appreciated what actual mask-off looked like. What a wild ride.
