Camp Lo - Uptown Saturday Night whole album is so stylistically solid in a way that rap albums basically never are. there is one vibe and it's good throughout. camp lo also rap in an invented 70s pimp slanguage that is really fun and perfect for the plush seat brougham cadillac mood. i feel like you could do an experiment where a child is only exposed to camp lo language and becomes like... the 'jive' guys in airplane! or something.

couple 90s tracks came to mind today, semi obscure poo poo (ok the mr. live is fully obscure) broken language is kind of a classic actually. it's a weird thing to say you like the rhyme structure of a rap song but listen to this one and you'll agree https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aqe666WIoYU greg nice doing what he does best - dumb nonsense poo poo that makes a track feel like a party https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfwvwBKkzQw mr live and tony bones. i just like tony bones on this really. british guy not doing garage/grime MCing but also not sounding lovely. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jb92o0D-2g
