awesmoe posted:You can get 8 secondaries in the library. Stay near the middle and fill out your 6 slots. Head left, watching the top of the screen till you see the book. Pick it up. Head right, pick up the mask. Order of these two doesn’t matter. You can get more than six secondaries anywhere. It’s rare but if you already have most of your items maxed out the big chests with multiple items will sometimes give you a new one instead of just gold, which can be leveled up normally after that. The 6 weapon limit seems to be a hard cap though.

The birds have maybe the best dps overall once they're fully upgraded, but since you can't really aim them much they don't shine until the very end, when you're completely swarmed with monsters. They're extremely good at that point, though.
