I usually just say I'm a woman, or trans woman. That's convenient for most situations. Reality is my identity kind of swings between androgynous and feminine. But I also don't give a gently caress about my actual gender identity label. I'm just me.

I guess I fall on the enby scale, usually going for agender because if I could zero gender in general I would. Other people see me as a bit more gender fluid.

But the actual practical thing is I'm just a silly girl.

Binch is great. I also like bicth. Pronounced bick-tha basically. It's fun.

Also "totally not rad" is a winner.

I'm a big fan of enbys. Big fan. I know a lot of enbys, and you know, they're good people. Some of the best. I was talking to one the other day and they were telling me how impressed they were by me being like them but also showing them things. Very impressed.

Anyway I poo poo my pants.

A favourite thing about the ability to give birth thing is a friend of mine screamed at a coworker because she was talking about me and mentioned I was trans and the coworker was like "oh she can't have kids? Guess she isn't a woman."

She screamed because she had a medical issue that required surgery that destroyed her ability to have kids, something she always wanted so very much. So telling her that having kids meant I wasn't a woman was telling her she wasn't too, and she is so very much more sensitive about it.

I really hope this thread just becomes cishets debating with each other over the philosophy of gender and sexual identity. That would be :discourse:

Gender identity is not really important for people who never have to think about it. I am shocked. Shocked.

"Gender is not important!" I scream as I am beaten for being androgynous lol

Cis people actually aren't cis because they don't think about being cis and therefore can't be because you didn't think therefore you amn't.

I forget who the comedian was that nailed it with the bit about guys thinking expressing love for your girlfriend/wife was "gay".

It's loving weird when people actually do it and you realise the bit is based on the real world. What the gently caress.

Also gently caress it double post, I vote every cis person that "never thinks about their gender" and thinks "it just doesn't matter" now gets a prescribed gender. Can this be traumatic? Yes. But it is the way we will reach the moon, or something.

The gender they need, not just the gender they want.

Cis people be like "lol pronouns don't matter, call people whatever who cares" and then get mad when you pull the "it" card on them.

Just mentally replace it with "I don't see colour, man, that's all I'm saying" and you're off to the races.
