they have the best voice lines for sure and are also sooo cool + very good vs muta and such. i liked how they looked and their power level was just right agreed they are very cool but i think the siege tank is cooler still but thats just me

they can lay satchel charges on the ground that they can then detonate later. very powerful when used as a mine field:

Came to post Siege Tank but also the RA games had some wild poo poo like the helicopter with the freeze ray that could also shrink enemy tanks so your tanks could roadkill them

This is very close to the truth.

The actual truth is the Scathis.

It's a gatling artillery whose rounds are significantly larger than siege tanks (granted, everything in Supreme Commander makes everything in Starcraft look like a toy, so that's not a big achievement). You can lay waste to an opponent's entire base from across the map. It's an absolute thing of beauty to see shells streaking across the map blowing apart everything in their wake.
