And the mercy seat is awaiting,
And I think my head is burning,
And in a way I'm yearning,

No, that happened shortly after at a house show, in a match with one of the Nasty Boys.

You're right but half the field got injured in that match between concussions, lacerations and exhaustion.

Yeah Heatwave 98 is my go to for a good variety of ECW styles. Tanaka/Awesome is insane, Taz is a badass against Bam Bam, Candido/Storm is way ahead of it's time, and you get a Dudley Boys street fight for the main event. Plus a rare American appearance from my favourite wrestler as a kid Hayabusa.

Really the only thing missing is the luchadores, but as far as I remember they were all gone to WCW by the time ECW got ppv

Went with WW3 even though it really could have gone either way. ECW probably had better matches, but the actual matchups don't excite me very much and ultimately Savage winning the title by eliminating OMG is hilarious so here we are.

Meltzer gave it *3/4 and that might have been generous. (Which was better than Muta/Orndorff at 1/2*... which was better than three other matches on the show.) International Incident is a very mediocre show, but at least the main event and Austin/Mero were both good.

Hmm

I've thought about what you're saying here and I've decided I'm standing by my vote for Slamboree '95. I feel like I'd have more fun watching a bad show than a mediocre show, although admittedly the WWF main event does seem like it'd be right up my alley. Way she goes.

There are way too many matches on that WM7 show for it to be any good. A sub 1 minute Legion of Doom vs Power & Glory match that sounds like it belongs on an episode of Superstars. More than 20 minutes of Hogan vs Slaughter. A blindfold match, probably the singles worst stipulation match I'm aware of. Savage Warrior is probably the best match of Warrior's career, so it's got that going for it at least.
