TRICare tries to make me pay $899 for 30 day supply of viagra. Use GoodRx app and it’s $4.57. What I’m saying is use the GoodRx app when your prices seem high, there’s an extremely good chance they can discount you heavily. My angry Jew cock loves GoodRx, and allows me to gently caress anything for like 3 hours. 5 stars, would recommend to a friend.

bird food bathtub posted:Come join us in the 3d printing thread. Decent resin printer set up is a few hundred to start, then you can print entire armies for less than a fancy dinner. Can you link me to the thread or tell me what subforum it’s in? I ask because I want to get into 3D printing. Gonna have a kid in 2023 and I want to make interesting things for/with them.

M_Gargantua posted:The US builds a nuclear pressurized water reactor every 4 months Those are tiny reactors (Compared to their land based electrical generating brethren) and also they use highly enriched Uranium with all kinds of exotic poo poo like hafnium and others to be able to operate at various power levels as quickly and safely as possible. Regular nuke plants don’t go between 10% and 100% output on any kind of regular basis like a Sub’s reactor. What I’m saying is, the navy PWR’s are like a Bugatti, and the commercial PWR’s are like locomotive engines. You are absolutely correct though. If we were building the same design of nuclear power plant and making GBS threads out a few a year, we could dramatically lower the cost of the plants, and probably electricity as a whole. As it is now, each plant is its own special bespoke setup. Even if the same type of reactor is built more than once in the U.S. the plants are all unique and specific to their site. I want to say you were a navy nuke, so I’m not saying anything you didn’t teach me through your posts over the years, I just figured I’d expand on your post. I’m a hugely pro-nuclear guy. I want us to use thorium breeder reactors and for us and Russia to use a good deal of our stockpiles of U235 and Plutonium 239 for electrical generation. In my perfect world, we would have ~300 warheads for each nuclear super power (France, U.K., India, Pakistan, Israel, DPRK, Iran, Saudi Arabia, can keep their minimal deterrents they’ve developed, we don’t let anyone but the PRC, Russia and the U.S. be a “super power” when it comes to nukes) with an agreement that if two of the super powers decide to enter into any kind of alliance the odd man out is allowed to build enough to deter the other two super powers, numerically at least. That’s some pie in the sky thinking. But we still have enough deployed weapons in between the U.S. and Russia and (to a lesser extent) the PRC to put an end to civilization as we know it. That’s gotta change. If we took all that plutonium and U-235 that acts as a sword of Damocles and decided to make electricity with it, we’d be doing the planet and civilization a loving HUGE favor. In short, you are absolutely correct. I wish we were building new nuclear power plants for civilian electricity multiple times a year. As it is, all the coal we burn is releasing more radioactive poo poo than if we had nothing but nuclear reactors for base load generation. Coal is loving horrible. Thanks for coming to the dumbest layman’s TED talk in the history of GiP.
