I'll post this in the NPB thread too if it exists, but Roki Sasaki of the Lotte Marines just threw a perfect game against the Orix Buffaloes. He did it on 105 pitches while striking out 19, striking out 13 in a row at one point. Particularly with Ty going down the way he did and Kyle Lewis still out with a concussion and so on. Mariners are pretty deep into the reserves now; I think Cal was the only guy left on the bench after the ejections and it sounds like Kelenic might be back up to fill a hole, which I don't think is great. in the movie version of this m's season, this is where the team gets all fired up and goes on a tear.
