They’re not gonna be winning a ring in year 1 but at 1-8 I think there were a lot of people ready to blow up everything that wasn’t Caitlyn and Aliyah and now Sides is coaching better and Kelsey has unlocked a new level of scoring and role players like Lexi and Temi and Dontas are finally clicking and the end result is incredibly fun to watch basketball.

I am watching the WNBA for the first time in maybe 20 years, and one thing I will say is that all the teams have much better names than their NBA counterparts. Pelicans = stupid bird, intimidating to nobody except sardines. Abstract concepts like Liberty and Dreams, now we're talking.
