Let's generate a character! I'll be using the following character creator: https://www.silverghost.me.uk/wfrp/index.php So if you're interested in participating please suggest three combinations of a race:  Human Male/Female  Dwarven Male/Female  Halfing Male/Female  Elven Male/Female with one of the following backgrounds: Random Military Burgeois Wanderer/Rural Urban/Mercantile So for example: Human Male Rural Elven Female Burgeois Dwarven Female Military Once we have a few different suggestions I'll roll up the three most popular and then people can vote on which of the three they're interested in. I'm also open to suggestions of specific race/career combo if someone has a particular story they're interested in exploring within the rules.

Well entries were far more diverse than I expected and the only clear winner was Human Female Military. We'll need to choose WS, BS, T, INT or WP for Shallya's mercy Skills to choose from: Animal Care or Drive Charm [She can persuade up to 3 people at a time] or Evaluate [appraising items] Speak Language (Breton) or Speak Language (Kislevian) or Speak Language (Tilean) Trade (Armourer) or Trade (Bowyer) or Trade (Cartographer) or Trade (Cook) or Trade (Gunsmith) or Trade (Herbalist) or Trade (Merchant) or Trade (Smith) or Trade (Tailor) or Trade (Weaponsmith) Talents to choose from: Dealmaker [+10% evaluate & haggle] or Street Fighting [unarmed = +10% WS +1 damage] Resistance to Disease or Seasoned Traveller [+10% Common knowledge & Speak language] Hardy [+1W] or Suave [+5% FEL] Commentary This is not what I expected when I rolled Human female military! I think which language we choose will have a big impact on where the camp she's following has led her, whether to Bretonnia, Kislev or Tilea. Then what is her particular trade. Next up is: Theo the Agitator https://warhammerfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Agitator  The nose ring was very tricky to draw on with a mouse  We'll need to choose WS, BS, S, or T for Shallya's mercy Skills to choose from: Trade (Cook) or Trade (Farmer) Academic Knowledge (History) or Gossip Academic Knowledge (Law) or Common Knowledge (the Empire) Talents to choose from: Coolheaded [+5% WP] or Street Fighting [unarmed = +10% WS +1 damage] Commentary I feel like the big choice here is whether we've studied law or have common knowledge about the Empire. If we've studied law then perhaps our little halfling is a lawyer trying to enact change in the Empire? If common knowledge perhaps he's more grassroots? And finally we have: Imhol the Apothecary https://warhammerfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Apothecary  His mole being slightly heart shaped was completely unintentional!  Skills to choose from Heal or Prepare Poison Talents to choose from Aethyric Attunement [+10% channeling, magical sense] or Specialist Weapon Group (Longbow) Coolheaded [+5% Int] or Savvy [+5% WP] Etiquette [+10% charm, gossip with nobility] or Resistance to Poison Suave [+5% FEL] or Very Resilient [+5% T] Commentary Figures that the Elf rolls impressively! The only roll that he needed Shallya's mercy on was Strength so I took the liberty of selecting it. Apothecary has apprentice wizard as an exit so if participants are interested in a magical story then Imhol's your Elf! There's also a somewhat ominous choice of whether he chooses the heal skill or prepare poison... Voting begins Originally I was going to write backgrounds for the characters before asking for votes but I think that already we can get some sense about how each of these stories will be vastly different from the others. So please vote for Carlott, Theo or Imhol and also indicate what kind of choices you would make.
