actually have a video of the first time my son pedaled a bike. some other kid was using the tricycle he usually played with over there, so kind of in a pique he picked up this bike and just started riding it. i think he was surprised he could do it, he's totally stoked and yelling to get ppl to look. https://i.imgur.com/9ufiTIi.mp4

I want to ride my bicycle. I'm not allowed to, can't find helmets large enough, plus the paralysis means I can't properly keep balanced. I can still swim and dive really well though. That's one of the few things where I get going like I used to. Better, because my ability to control my breathing has been improved by the ventilator.

I would scuba but I would probably never snorkel, I’m terrified of inhaling after accidentally dipping the end under the water I am willing to admit that this could be a user error

i think it’s cool but also like p bad to build a giant concrete thing in the middle of nowhere and then tell the public to come check it out but like it’s also awesome art so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ sort of reminds me of the background structures you’d get in the vaguely art deco dc cartoons

swimming is so fun. public pools are gross af so i doubt i will ever go in one again. fun fact my parents found out i could swim when i ran ahead of them and jumped in the deep end. there was some panic and then relief at me doggie paddling away. they said i told them i just knew i could do it.
