yeah, as long as it's some random rear end company the big names are safe

my WD disc drive has been fine for 7 years now with a shitload of data going on and off, my Samsung SSD has been pro as well

i got suckered and bought a sabrent 1t, it failed after 10 months, i RMA'd it, the RMA drive failed after another four. I just threw it in the dumpster and now i exclusively buy wd or the best drives samsung sells

Yeah, you're right. Aside from games - I don't see a need for TB's of SSD if it's just storing movies, music and pictures. My plex can handle 4k HDR streaming on my local network with ease off a spinny drive.

i think im starting to hit the "too old for this poo poo" of concerts, my neck is still sore from seeing Primus on Saturday lol but when you hear bangers like my name is mud, bluecollar tweakers, over the electric grapevine and more - you have no choice

they nailed "farewell to kings" by rush, if that tour is coming your way and you like that album and/or primus in general - go see it. i got to meet the guys before and have a little q+a back and forth. was nervous but they are chill and eventually it was just me talking to the band as everyone else was sorta quiet or offering dumb questions, "whats your favorite song you've written". the funniest was someone going, "whats the hardest song to play?" to ler the guitarist and he's like, "ummm, none? i wrote them so i know em lol"

originally got a quote for landscaping that was gonna be like, $25,000 - that was complete soil and sod of our yard and i was like, umm, no

asked our friends cousin who did theirs and we're doing soil and sod front yard, side and around the deck plus putting new black gravel/slag for the driveway and around the left side of the house - $9800

insanity on how much much cheaper it is, almost cried with how much ill be saving as i budgeted for around 12,000 so now we can get whatever blinds we want with extra money for whatever

unsure to handle the explosion of crab grass :3: im leaning towards getting a cheap reel mower and just chop stuff up though. i have an electric weed wacker but it only lasts about 25-30 minutes which is fine for normal use but not clearing property lol

anyone here go through that? we're getting sod but that's in like september or so to hopefully lessen the massive water for getting it going

overall i don't mind the crabgrass. last year after we moved in it was just annoying tall weeds with like purple flowers and were like spikes

jsut the crabgrass grows insanely fast, i think within a week it already grew back lol which is another option: gently caress it and wait till our contractor comes to make it look nice

hbag it depends on the beer you like but since you're new to drinking it stick with light lagers which are the "easiest" to take in.

wheat beers are good and smooth
flavored stuff can help, stuff with hints of citrus like Kronenbourg 1664 are very nice in the summer
