yeah Shane has that history major race realism thing sometimes where he's not technically wrong on (most of) his facts he's just missing the forest for the trees. which is the case a lot of the time with most people and whatever their area of expertise is it's still so funny he got canceled for the Asian thing and there's clips like high school bbg just out there

I mostly listen to this podcast because Matt’s accent and completely insane Neanderthal family of super jacked Men of Trains make me very wistfully homesick for Philly. There are at least 3-4 instances on the show of Matt saying something that is a completely insane thing that I have thought before but usually accompanied by a “wow I’ll never meet anyone else who thinks THIS!” so I concede that Matt is probably a distant cousin of mine.
