did they fix face of the franchise to allow you to access sliders??????????? i had to quit in the last game because i am bad at madden and threw like ten interceptions per game. but turning the difficulty down a whole level was too easy and not fun. dilemma.

Strat-o-Matic's PC game still exists, though I think it's pretty specific to playing individual games and not really any of the franchise management parts like OOTP/FM

The great thing about madden 23 is that you can sign a free agent wide receiver and then **INTERCEPTION ** have to update your rush end depth chart to back to how you had it because the CPU decided to reorder your entire depth chart

I went ahead and actually bought the game for PS5. This is the first Madden I've purchased since Madden 11 in 2010. I see that 12 years later, the OL is just as rough as when I gave up on the game the first time. Throwing passes is a simulation in the sense that I think it's simulating me as if I were literally trying to throw against an NFL defense, because it's just picks on picks on picks. The defense is pretty broken because before I'd even refreshed my muscle memory after a 12 year break, I've been averaging about 2-3 interceptions per game, and averaging about 3-4 sacks. I haven't messed with anything except the training and franchise mode so far, but so far my inner need to play a football video game has not been satisfied. Probably just going to drift back to FIFA if they don't drop some updates soon.

there are sliders in the settings section of the menu you can adjust to prevent insane amounts of fumbles and interceptions. it's really not intuitive which way you're supposed to move the slider (like i think moving the fumble slider to zero means maximal fumbles somehow  ). but there are also nerds on madden specific forums who will put out guides on where to set the sliders for maximum realism.myself, i just turn the interceptions down super low.

This game is somehow worse than the beta. Even moving to all-pro with interceptions set to 1, it feels like you’re just doomed to throw pick after pick after pick

my only real issues with the game so far are the blocking and reaction time of DBs. everything else bad is self-inflicted but I also probably don't play Madden enough and am so bad that I just don't notice anything else

Yes it's full of wacky bugs but its fun if you liked old ones. You could also play it for 10 hours for free if you have Game Pass/EA Play to check it out or just play last year's version for free

this year's version is tolerable after the patch, bordering on okay. Finally fixed the INT slider and teams actually resign players in franchise

lol at not allowing it for franchise. good poo poo as usual. lol: We're super pumped about cross-play coming to Madden. It was a huge undertaking for us. And so we want to make sure that when we release cross-play in Franchise mode, we do it right. And so, no, it will not be in Madden at launch, but we have people working on it now. And we hope to release it at some point in the future, before next year's Madden, we hope. No guarantees, but that's what we hope.
