All of those pitchers the Royals had been calling up regressed, and I know Keith Law months back talked about how it had to be something with the major league pitching coaching staff because several of them fell off of a cliff

For whatever issues Boone has as a manager, I don't think they are huge deals. The bigger problem for me is that a team like this is just not going to perform well in the playoffs. You need more guys that get on base at a higher clip and aren't all TTO guys. That falls on Cashman.

I haven't heard much in awhile about Michael Conforto. I think in July/August it was reported that he was looking to try and catch on with a contending team but of course that never happened. I have to assume he's going to try and get some kind of one year 'prove it' deal this offseason.
