Uhhhh I don’t think you realize how big GM is. This is exactly what the FIA and F1 wanted Andretti to do - bring a big new name in as a new partner, instead of just being another manufacturer using a Ferrari/Mercedes/Renault engine.

It needs time, but this is an incredibly strong possibility.

Except they are going to use a Renault aren't they?

EDIT : They've said they've signed to buy an engine, Renault is the one who are obligated to sell them one at a set price.

It would not be a badged engine, because there would be intellectual property from Cadillac in that engine, so that is not a badged engine.”

What the gently caress does that even mean lol.

Max is absolutely having a meltdown but he is also right. It made the brands look like idiots and pissed off the little teams paying a big entry fee.

rFactor 2 turns 10 very, very soon. It was never designed for this but it's what motorsport.com have and they won't pony up the money to fix it because they don't have it, especially after spending it all on securing events. They abandon all their games, sometimes before release. The state of KartKraft is beyond a joke.

This is more like there's several raised manhole covers and they're letting people cross the track to go to the shops and refuse to do anything about it.

And then you can only enter a series where the other cars are Fits, Aquas and Demios. And they're realistically the only other cars you can enter with.

And the same happens with FR cars. And then Fords. And then Chevrolets.

Until after nearly 40 times of being told exactly what car to use in what race, the game just goes "Ok done bye!" and you're left with a half finished mess where there's no real reason to revisit the races since reward cars can't be won again, so the only thing left to do is grind for Hagerty cars that don't qualify to be entered into any events. So you're reduced to just kinda driving around in custom races or time trials by yourself.

I gave up on the main "Game" the 70th time I was absolutely screwed by heavy rain that was not on the scanner arriving mid lap and everyone else having super human grip while I was surfing around like Nick Latifi driving his best ever race.

That is solvable, you simply block the code that checks for the ad blocker.
