Xfinity is the only cable internet available where i live and every year when it's time to renegotiate my contract with them it's the same poo poo as you OP. one time i had them graciously offer me some TV deal and i said no, i dont want that but they added it to my service anyway and then charged me for it. just recently they insisted on sending me something called xfinity flex which is some cable box for tv streaming i think? again i told them no thank you but they sent it anyway and now it lives unopened in the closet. they periodically send me emails encouraging me to activate it but i'd rather not. gently caress xfinity.
