I grew up with "authentic" pozole but when I went to my family's village in Mexico when I was 11, I discovered the real authentic stuff and while I'm totally fine eating hominy out of the can or even eating the fancy frozen stuff when I can find it, the true stuff that is nixtamalized on site will always stick out in my mind as being the real deal.

Steak is the easiest loving thing in the world to cook. Let it get to room temperature, tenderize it, season it, sear it on high heat on both sides in a pan with butter.

Even if you just grab it right out of the fridge and throw it in a pan, it's still decent. :shrug:
