I've got 16 x 400 watt (6400 watts) of panels on the roof. On a perfect sunny day it maxes out about 5200 watts, which I think is the limit of the inverter. The power company charges us $0.40 /KWh to use their electricity when the sun goes down, and pays us $0.05 /KWh for the excess we generate during the day.

This is the power output from yesterday. It was pissing down rain most of the day and overcast, but it still cranks it out.

Solar is good poo poo :)
