Installed a new showerhead combo with an overhead thing and a separate handheld that can both be run simultaneously. Mrs. Nasty picked up a cheap towel warmer and I've never felt so good after a shower in my life.

i have one of those combo dual showerhead things and its probably one of the best purchases you can make. both heads have a "steam" mode for ultimate luxury

im staying at a hotel for a wedding. it's in a part of the country i sometimes describe as the texas of the netherlands (it's ok, i can say that since im actually from here myself). Already seen more huge trucks in one night than in the past three years living in amsterdam. i had to take a 2km walking detour through a residential neighborhood to get to the hotel (400m from the bus stop i arrived at) without having to walk on the shoulder of a busy but unlit provincial road. i decided to treat myself and spring for a deluxe room, so at least ive got a bath tub to spend my night in. the hotel is pretty nice. it's a chain of roadside hotels that used to be lovely but turned things around once the founder died from gluttony and corruption oh and this 'last supper but it's porn' photo print is in the hallway right across from my room:
