I think an active middleweight class (100-150 lbs) would have the best balance of exciting action and as a testbed to scale-up lower-weight-class designs without teams eating up the costs of a full 250 lb. bot. Would there be money in it (from the organizers, sponsors, the fanbase)? Well...
