i didn't mention but ash is a gfp axolotl, which means he fluoresces under blacklight. they don't really like it very much it seems, i think it bothers their eyes or something so i don't do it often and try and avoid the head, but it's really neat. you can make out all sorts of musculature and stuff!

Yeah. It dipped below freezing last night to this morning. We got some flurries, but this is Osaka so it didn't stick or anything.
