Welcome to Initech. Modern solutions, for modern problems. We form our name by combining the great powers of the INTERNET and TECHNOLOGY! Fun! Working for us is always an exciting time, from filling out our TPS Reports to updating our clients' software for the upcoming Y2K bug, working here puts you at the cutting edge of IT! However, it appears that there has been some book cooking, and unfortunately, I think that there are even some rogue entities in the office that want to lay off some of the staff. Sad!

These are the Bobs. They are responsible for the unenviable task of having to let members of the team go. They are not responsible for who actually goes, that is determined each day shift and night shift.

This game is new player friendly. The game will not lie, so no death millers or anything silly like that. Try not to focus too much on game mechanics and alignments. Flavor will not dictate game mechanics. Mostly.

Rules

Day period will last 48-72 hours, time is arbitrary but will be posted at start of day. Nights will have a 24 hour deadline but night phase may end early when all night actions are in. Think of it as a soft 18-24 hour deadline. Try not to game it, I end it when I get to it.
Standard mafia rules apply, don't fake day actions, don't edit your posts, if you're dead don't post in the thread anymore.
Don't be a jerk. If the game is making you mad, close the tab, stand up, and go for a walk. It's a game.
Anti-Lurker Rule: If you make less than 10 posts in a game-day that lasts longer than 24 hours, you will be issued a warning. If you do it again, you will be laid off, without severance.
Don't copy/paste your role pm or any communications from out of the thread. Paraphrase if you have to. Copy and paste, copy and DIE.
Hammer Rule: When there is a hammer and someone has received enough votes for elimination, the game will go to a twilight phase until I can get to the thread to close it. If you were the one voted, stop posting. Other players can still post freely but no game actions can occur during the twilight period.

It appears that someone has had enough of their actions being jammed, and took matters into their own hands. After work hours, Rhymes With Clue, the office printer was subjected to horrific acts of violence.

After some looking into things and evidence being brought to The Bobs' attention, it's discovered that Green Wing, a.k.a. Milton Waddams, was actually laid off more than five years ago but due to a glitch in payroll was continuing to draw a paycheck. So they have done all they need to do and they fixed the glitch. Hopefully it all works itself out.

After some review and documentation slid their way, it was not clear to The Bobs why they had a waitress who doubles as a faulty copy machine under their employment. They decided to fix the glitch and send Cloacamazing! packing.

Bob Porter : So then you must physically bring them to the software people?

Tom Smykowski : Well--well look. I already told you: I deal with the god drat customers so the engineers don't have to. I have people skills; I am good at dealing with people. Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?
