it seems like the only smart tv you should buy is something like a Roku one because it has the same ui as the standalone ones that can’t be too annoying

yeah it’s microseconds if you want a very random project take a look at this: https://bitbucket.org/fernya/igb-pps-guide/src/master/ the good ole Intel i210 NIC has good hardware timing for ptp and gpio for both a pps in and out. there’s a little 6 pin header on the card for gpio
