We are culturally programmed to speak to the police through all avenues, but specifically TV anf Movies. After a High Stress situation, you want to talk- it's a biological response to the flood of cortisol and other chemicals. Police know these things, and use them to their advantage. Remember children- it's a crime to lie to the police. It's not a crime for them to lie to you.

If there is a thing that you can leverage against a corporation they will either get a better version of it, make it illegal, or find a way to destroy it. Nothing about AI legal advice makes it a tool that can be used exclusively by the unwashed masses, unless its defining characteristic is that it's useless, in which case you'll be allowed to have as much access to it as you want.
