I wasn’t sure about the break feature when it was first explained in-game but it’s a neat mechanic that rewards using the right combinations of units to gang up on an enemy. The emblem mechanics as the obvious change seems cool too since you can freely mix and match, like Sigurd’s emblem is clearly kind of meant for cavalry but I gave it to my archer so she has more range to move in and shoot at an enemy and then can fall back to safety afterward. yeah im only in chapter 5 atm but it's dope they seemingly took out the gameplay stuff from 3H that either sucked (weapon durability) or i just never rlly used (battalions) and put in the stuff you mentioned+cool frills like being able to wander around the battlefield afterwards to find items/talk to NPCs. if the "omg it's the Divine Dragon x1000" dialogue clears up sooner rather than later it might be rivaling 3H for me

I also like not having to - put somebody in a lovely or way different class than what you intend in the end to learn skills - wait half a game to use the good skills/weapons/batallions b/c of proficiency ranks - or really worry much about proficiency at all - feel like I have to do home base stuff when I just wanna fight some guys back to back
