I loved when people would have whole arguments in game lobbies and the whole match would just play normally, they wouldn't even miss a beat. It was astounding. Could do without the overly racist and homophobic stuff though.

There was this one time me and my roommate were playing CoD and some dude had a baby crying in the background and my roommate started ripping on the guy for playing video games while his kid was crying and how he should be feeding his kid and not gaming and stuff like that and the dude got really really mad like really super mad about it and this was extremely funny but I retrospect I hope that he did not take it out on his partner because he def sounded like he was going to hit someone irl mad

Remember when Black Ops 1 had the create a profile pic feature and everyone made nothing but dicks, boobs and swastikas? I saw it coming a mile away and it took Activision way too long to do something about it. Getting back to MW2 lobbies it was truly remarkable how high-strung everyone was. I've been in actual lobbies where people were screaming at someone because they literally didn't like their voice. The worst was when someone breathed into their mic just a little and someone flipped a poo poo screaming "What you can't loving talk?!" just taking it to loving 11. Unpopular opinion but I kind of miss it a little because it was always entertaining because of how absurd it got. You just had to kind of keep your head down a little. Gamers back then were such huge pussies and emotionally weak asf, you only start yelling slurs and trash talking if you're compromised.
