i made a joke in the dry january thread (closed 3 days early, hope no one failed dry january due to it. stay strong brothers and sisters) about doing dry feb but apparently soemone in canada is actually pushing this as a thing and fundraiser for the canadian cancer society. my mom died from pancreatic cancer almost certainly indirectly caused by or badly inflamed by her alcoholism so yeah sure let's go
