it's actually not too hard for western canadians to blend in with americans if they work a bit at it (like i say car the same way you do, unlike everyone east of manitoba) but yeah sorry is a giveaway even for me

this is what western canadians think but they screw up all the time even if they have a passable sorry. there are other words and other tells, but its one of those things where you know it when you hear it.
