IS GROWING FOOD "WASTING WATER"?

I'm laughing my rear end off at all the Central Valley idiots who kept complaining about water shortages. How about now, fuckos? You got enough water? Want more? No? Too bad, you're gonna get more once all that snow melts. Enjoy!

i mean we still dont have enough water tho

If you're referring to the groundwater aquifer, sure. Otherwise....?

When Shasta & Oroville are this full before the Sierra melt (and the snowpack is bordering on being the biggest since record-keeping started), plus Tulare Lake exists again, I don't know what more you want unless it's "change the entire Central Valley back into an inland sea".

its been pointed out that lots of cutting edge technological adaptation was driven by porn. early cable and home video recorders and cameras. early dial-up internet. early web commerce. dvd advanced features. all driven by porn addicts

No one has....found a compelling reason for VR....

Uh yeah. OK.

good, loud cars can get hosed. revving your engine in the tunnel? nobody thinks you're cool buddy

This is mostly true with the exception of high-rev cars like Ferraris. Ain't nothin' like a Ferrari scream in a tunnel.

Also it's not to show people you're cool or some stupid poo poo like that, it's because it's loving COOL.

(no I don't own a Ferrari obviously but I got to drive one once and every single underpass I revved the gently caress out of it and it was awesome)

I don't think anyone would argue that Harleys are, on balance, good products or even should exist anymore, and hopefully with the extinction of the boomers Harleys will finally go away. Their entire "innovation" is, instead of having the crankshaft be driven by pistons on opposite sides, both pistons driving it on the same side. But doesn't this make no sense and require that you have to overbuild the entire thing because you've got an unbalanced engine?

Yes. Yes exactly. This is where their loving "sound" comes from and it's because the entire design is wrong and bad. They literally said "but wait a minute, why use an engine where the forces all line up with each other to maximize efficiency, when you can do the exact opposite instead?" It's 100% a triumph of marketing and idiocy over everything else.
