one of my favourite food shows is just about regional dishes in china. the entire thing is fairly minimal narration over shots of the food being prepared. no life story of the grandmother of sixteen who walks forty miles a day to prepare it, just the food.

it does exactly what the payment page did, but now you have to type or choose from canned responses that you want to add a balance to the account and then choose a card tied to the account or enter your cc details in a loving chat window

i assume they hate their customers and are just trying to drive people to cancel their accounts

there are a lot of different kinds of karma bots to build up accounts for whatever reason. for example in all the meme reddits they’ll repost random stuff from years ago which usually gets some upvotes or is at worst neutral if caught for being a repost. the really weird ones are for comments and will copy a comment deep in a thread and post it elsewhere in the replies at random
