Come, all you fair and tender maids
Who flourish in your pri-ime
Beware, take care, keep your garden fair
Let Gnoman steal your thy-y-me
Le-et Gnoman steal your thyme

The one good thing about not having voice actors is that you can make up everyone's voices up in your own head.

Personally, I can't help hearing Zak with the voice of the protagonist from Orion Burger.

This game in particular is one where the LP format kind of robs it. Getting a lot of stuff before you have any clue what you need it for saves a lot of time and no few restarts, but there's a lot of puzzles here that are incredibly clever when you work them out. Would highly recommend playing along for that reason.

Huh, that's a shorter game than expected. I was feeling like it was finally starting to gather some steam.

The amount of padding you get from not doing things before you know to do them is pretty high. Summoning the bird, for example, could take as many as five flights to complete if you're playing blind (fly to that location, find the site, fly back, get the bread, fly back, find out you can't use the bread whole, fly back, find a way to crumb the bread (which may take a reload or two), fly back and get the bird.
