Sometimes people run that sort of thing but if an RP is going to involve some heavy/hosed up poo poo you clear it up front with every player with a fair amount of specificity and without trying to pressure them into anything they're uncomfortable with. It's ultimately collaborative fiction and all the authors need to be on the same page with their comfort zones. Yeeeeah this is earnestly pretty weird and controlling.
