It was alright. Too much liverwurst not enough swiss flavor and I didn't leave it on the panini long enough so the middle wasn't warm. I went with the truffle potato chips which are strong tasting and I'm not sure how feel about truffle flavor.

The only part I can agree with is that liver worst spread available. Try roasted eggplant or mushrooms, so delicious. P.s. artificial truffle flavour is divine punishment for a sinful world.

Liverwurst and cheese kind of cross on too many aspects, apart from flavour. Definitely would have gone with raw white onions and no cheese.

I never really liked complicated liverwurst sandwiches. Liverwurst, bread, and mayo are just fine on their own. Maybe even without the mayo (it's not like liverwurst is that dry, you can just spread it like it's a spread). I like fancy sandwiches or sandwiches that are just a bunch of stuff I piled on in the moment if it's cold cuts, but I feel like if you're eating liverwurst, you're there for the liverwurst. Adding anything truffle-related sounds weird to me. Those seem like two flavors that would be competing instead of complementing each other.

In Germany we have some kind of sweet buttered brioche bread called Stuten & a good veal liverwurst spread is so sick on it, don't need anything else. It also has like a billion calories per slice that's probably why it's so incredibly tasty.
