It’s a great read as a teenager which is when I’m assuming most people read it for the first time and then hold the nostalgia but going back as an adult it’s dumb as poo poo.

I hope lots of people have given the book author a wet willie  here's a Babelfish, nerd!I got through one or two of the books back in the day before the jokes were quite as tired as they are now. The movie version I saw was OK. I remember one nice rack. The audio version was rather dire. OK I'm a nerd too.

Had a surreal moment last week where I went to the doctor and was concerned about testicular cancer. The doc told me he knew the secret to life the universe and everything. I played the straight man role and asked him what it was. He said 42. I replied “oh Douglas Adams.” He was happy I got the reference. I remained concerned about my ball. At least he tried to inject some levity,
