See, from where I sit, one of the three of you is the last scum. Snooze is the one acting like the last scum and making a noble effort. And looking at the whole of the game (via ISO) Snooze just looks the scummiest to me, from voting pattern to claims to progression on votes. Like, even when I skimmed the game before joining I thought Snooze looked scummy, but once I got in I tried to be fair and non-prejudiced because it looks different from inside the game. But I got the same vibe. Collusion with Josef, putting the vote there then removing it, then coming after me, as a replacement, after saying HCT who I replaced was town.

I don't meta much, but sometimes it's the deciding factor in a pinch. I have seen Nep as scum and she could do it for sure. I could be fooled.

Nep has also seen me as scum and was onto me pretty fast. But I could have gotten better--yeah, it could happen.

And Nep has a good point that TM as scum could have hammered and did not.

I gave it some thought again just in case and I think ##vote snooze is where I land because I considered in good faith the possibility that the claim could be true but if someone specific had to die for the wincon to become active, then why take the risk and duel TM in the first place? In this case I ask that rhetoricially. Just overall it doesn�t and won�t add up for me.

Now that TM is confirmed town by virtue of not hammering repeatedly while having the chance (and proving it by posting this time!) That leaves me with two suspects. With regard to RWC I have to ask "was Josef's vote a distancing vote?"

For me, I don't think it was. The reason for that is because of information that unfortunately I can't present as proof, but essentially, as I reported I received messages n2 and n3. N2's message stated certain things but among that was an offhanded comment about not having any clues.

Now, because I received a message n3, one of two possibilities exists.

1. The messenger is one of the remaining players. If so, that player is scum because town would have admitted it by now. If that's how things are, I don't think it was RWC because both messages I received wanted me to get rid of the remaining unmessaged Ding family member. Reverse psychology could be at play, but I don't think "RWC is the scum messenger, messaged me, did a night kill, and also visited TM" is what happened.

If the messenger is a player, it can only be snooze, who would've made up a lie for Josef to tell that is outlandish, distracting, and ultimately aligned perfectly with my personal theories and if that's what happened, bravo.

2. The masonry was real. In that case, it would explain why Josef was able to tell a story that matched up with my own little theory (that he could not possibly have guessed unless scum have the power to read confessionals, in which case WTF).

Now, with his probably real masonry, I can't say what he might have discussed but what I can do is dissect what he did with that RWC vote.

Now, read the post I quoted in my post above. Josef votes RWC and notes that "they must be a 3p/scum that gets more powerful as other ding members die."

Now for me to paraphrase, in the first message I received, the maybe 3p/scum idea was in there, but nothing about getting more powerful, and the message claimed not to have more clues. That concept also wasn't mentioned in the n3 message I received, just a bit of shock that josef turned out to be scum.

So I think Josef made up that detail, to create a sense of urgency. I think the scum were genuinely okay with RWC being the execution. To supplement that idea, keep in mind that when I put the doctor claims against each other, Josef received to call Zoya scummy or change stance.

If it's a distancing play between two scum team mates, it's a rather powerful one actually.

To be honest, I don't think the messenger, if not a player, actually has privileged information about their target's alignment, I think they just tried to pick ding family members they thought were likely to be town in order to lead us to eventually execute that person. It's likely just an executioner type play from the outsider(s), so I don't take stock in those claims either way. Point being, i think Josef weaponized our knowledge supplemented with his own to try and lead us down the path to a mislunch yesterday, but it just didn't work between loving up the claimed actions and being watched.

(Upon being condemned, you may publicly ##explode, killing another player of your choice. This power may be used after the hammer. If the vote is altered, you will learn their identify and retain your power)

I enjoyed it a bunch even though it was not remotely close to balanced. I always get invested in games where I enjoy the flavour it seems.

Really the outer disciple plucky underdog killing the demon lord and town winning despite all the odds was a perfect xianxia resolution, and dying senselessly was simply because I was not fated
