He's done it with almost every toy so far. At night I've watched him get the zoomies on camera and start chucking a tea bag shaped cat toy in the air and run around with it.

These doofuses got real high on laundry day.

Fuck you say?
Going by order history I should have 200 of those little spring toys in my house. If I go walk around trying to find them I might locate ten.

I suspect my kitties are hiding a small black hole somewhere. Or the refrigerator is being supported entirely by a mass of little multicolored plastic springs.

Under the stove and under our office pull-out couch are where we find the most of ours, but they were still disappearing at a big pace. Then I found like 30 of them in this one spot under my desk that I had never even considered as a toy hole.

I still want somebody to make the exact same spring toy but 2x as big.

I bought them some of those automated balls that roll around and imitate mice about 4-5 months ago and they had interest for about 3 days.

Thanks to my shithead landlord investing $0 in pest control on this property over the past 5 years (because they're clearly looking for a payday from the city on demolishing the complex that was in fairly good shape that they bought to make way for a large gentrification project), they don't give a poo poo about those because they regularly just do the real thing, down to enkidu going for the the coup de grace on the brainpan proudly in front of me on a regular basis. At least he actually kills them, sekhmet just carries them around and tries her best to not injure them :/

Sparky our senior foster is settling in really well. He's enjoying the quiet and less commotion of being in a house with just a few people and only one other cat instead of a giant cat room with like 8 other cats. He put himself in baby jail for fun I guess so I snapped a photo. His three favorite things are

1. Licking toes
2. Snoring
3. Love bites

He has a tendency when you're petting him to put teeth on you very gently because he clearly likes to nibble people as a self-comfort mechanism. When he's hungry he'll walk in front of you everywhere you go licking your toes and quietly meowing, and if you're sitting in a chair, he'll walk by and lick your toes even more while purring. I suspect that the snoring comes from him being an obese cat. He's getting used to the three square meals a day regimen, whereas at the foster shelter he was able to just free feed all day and would even eat other cats' food from their bowls, thus why he's so portly. He also constantly sits on his side and lies down, probably because he's older and has some hip issues from being overweight. Hopefully we'll get him trimmed down a bit and he'll be better off with his joints. He always sleeps lying up next to me or my wife. He's definitely a pack animal and wants to be near people at all times.

Refrigerator. Range.

Under the basement steps.

I find them everywhere else because I can see everywhere else.

YOU HAVE MY POST!
Lily didn't make it. :( Spoilered health stuff for those who don't want to read it: She just kept refusing to eat. The vet suspected tooth problems (she had a bunch of extractions a year or two back) but there was no way they'd put her under for more extractions when her baseline health was already so poor. After a week of steroids, anitibiotics, appetite stimulants and subcutaneous fluids she was still not eating anything, had diarrhea, and dropped over a pound. She spent her last day draped across my chest, occasionally purring, headbutting my chin, and making biscuits on the soft blanket she was wrapped in. My roommate took her in yesterday to have her put to sleep and I *know* it was the right thing to do but this keyboard is awful blurry right now for some reason.

RIP you spoiled silly princess.

I will not shut up about the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I talk about them all the time and work them into every conversation I have. I built a shrine in my room for the yellow one who died because sadly no one noticed because she died around 9/11. Wanna see it?
