It's hard to say, I think the final scum after Salads Cooper is maybe TPC? It's kinda has to be TPC or Potato Salad, and TPC/salad don't seem to interact much rereading post histories.

Obviously I don't want to take anything for granted but I just don't get strong scum vibes

I did initially when we had that scrap over "confirmed town" stuff but sand wolf's death and nailing Toal makes me feel more trusting. Also, if scum was planning to let one of their buddies play scumhunter, do we think that they would have the newest player take that role? Maybe so people would hesitate to suspect them, but it seems risky to put so much pressure on a new player when you have a small team

To be clear, we snooped salad and he is a poisoner.

Like come on, you seriously think chores's role would be in the game if there weren't serious misdirection around it? Town poisoner is a great way to fool everyone lol

if you're a town poisoner, how come you haven't been killing suspected scum?

In all fairness there was a good share of suspicion/votes on chores day 2 before people switched over to Cube. Plus the desire to flip chores to verify the claimvotefinder posted:Votecount for Day 2

Did you poison chores for that reason Saladscooper?

I jailed Keats last night so if there was supposed to be a scum kill it was either done by Keats or done to Keats most likely

So in theory it would be a bad idea for a scum poisoner, who would know that Chores' read of roles was accurate, to kill him and verify the veracity of his claims

I'm not buying a Town Poisoner any day of the week. Toal was part of the snoop investigation on salad night two, scum obviously knew it was going to happen and it mysteriously failed. Then with Toal gone it succeeds and oops, we found out salad is killing people.

The fact that snooping Saladscooper failed night 2 when the scum still had Toal watching them but it failed night 3 is a pretty strong circumstance.

One concern - my role kinda changed at one point in the game, beginning as one traditionally scummy role and transitioning to a helpful town role. I don't know if that effects snooping or chores initial predictions.

Potato Salad posted:To be fair, friendly fire probably counterbalances it. In theory, but to put on my mod hat you can't guarantee that. Every killing action introduces variance and you are compelled to ask yourself 'what if the worst outcome happens?' If salads were a vigilante with a poison twist, that would be somewhat more plausible. However, you don't see Town Roles with repeatable killing actions because they can win the game on their own. Sure, they could die night one or kill the doc immediately, but they could also give the win to a Town that never lunched scum.
